IT WAS PANTO TIME at St. Anne's Shankill last week and Mother Hubbard went off without a hitch. The children on St. Anne's National School put in hours of hard work with shows on Friday and Saturday night as well as a matinee performance on Saturday afternoon.
Mother Hubbard followed a glittering performance of Sinbad a year ago and more than lived up to the fantastic reputation of the annual show.
The cast of more than 100 has been rehearsing, rehearsing and rehearsing some more since October, just after the start of the school year. Many of the children, not to mention audience members, are already looking forward to next year's production.
