LIBRARY

Normal branch opening hours are 10am to 1 pm and 2pm to 5pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm on Wednesdays. The library is closed on Mondays and Fridays and Bank Holiday Saturdays. To avail of the library's newspaper on microfilm, please phone 01-2723205 to reserve time on the microfilm viewer and printer. Baptisms: 1st and 3rd Sundays of the Month after 11.30am Mass. Three weeks notice before preparation meeting is required. Preparation Meeting takes place on the Monday before the 1st Sunday. Masses - Weekdays: 10am; Weekends - Saturday 7.30pm and Sunday 10am and 11.30am. Holy Days: Vigil Mass 7.30pm and Holy Day -10am and 11.30am.

Novena to St. Anthony: This is said on Tuesdays during the 10am Mass.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: This takes place on Fridays from 10.30am to 1pm.

Feast of St. Brigid: Today (Wednesday) is the Feast of St. Brigid - Mass will be celebrated at 10am.

Feastofst.blaise: Friday is the Feast of St. Blaise - Blessing of the throats will take place during the 10am Mass.

International Eucharistic Congress 2012: As part of the Bray Pastoral Area preparations for the IEC 2012 later this year, the series of talks on The Eucharist given by Very Rev. Fr. John Hughes, O.S.A., in St. Fergal's Church continue tonight ( Wednesday) at 7.30pm with 'Developing a Spirituality of the Eucharist' The one takes place next Wednesday February 8th on ' From Worship to Service'. All welcome to attend. A monthly newsletter for the International Eucharistic Congress 2012, for the Bray Area, is now available and copies are available from the table at the back of the church.

Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are sought who would be willing to operate the projector in the Church at different Masses (outside the Family Mass). Training will be provided. If interested please call to the Parish Office.

Family Offering Boxes 2012: For those who have an allocated collector, the boxes have been delivered to your collector. For those who have no collector, the boxes are available from the table at the back of the church. If you are not already contributing and wish to do so, there are boxes available at the back of the church. Please write your name & address on the sheet against the corresponding box number that you have taken. Thank you.

Appeal for a collector for Herbert Park: We no longer have a collector for a group of houses in Herbert Park.if you would like to volunteer to collect the family offering envelope from approx. 17 houses in Herbert Park each week please speak to Fr. Larry or call to the Parish Office.

St. Fergal's Gospel Choir: If Gospel Music has touched your life in a way you want to share music, start your musical career early by joining us here at St. Fergal's Gospel Choir, as we are looking for new members. If interested please contact the Parish Office and leave your name and telephone number and we will contact you.

Familymass: This is celebrated on Sundays at 11.30a.m. All parents & children are most welcome.

St. Fergal's Parish Funds: Our parish is primarily funded from the regular contributions by parishioners via Standing Orders, Envelopes or direct payments (Planned Giving). It is this fund which pays for the day-to-day running expenses of the parish, costs for the maintenance of the church and parish buildings and funding for the many pastoral activities throughout the parish.
