The Lego league Competition also took place in the Radisson Hotel. Students were required to design and build a robot from lego. The robot had to be programmed to go through 3 rounds of competition. The student team then had a series of 3 interviews; the first regarding "core values"; the second regarding the robot itself and the third regarding their project. The students travelled by bus, with a group of supporters, and accompanied by Science teacher; Ms. Aherne and TY Coordinator; Ms. Mcinenery, to Galway and returned home that evening. MOCK EXAMS
Mock Exams will begin in the school in the week immediately preceding the midterm break. This year the exams will be split over the midterm with the remainder of the exams taking place the week back after midterm. This is due to the fact that the break is slightly earlier this year. As a result of this arrangement students will have the opportunity to carefully plan their study routine over the holidays.
