HOLY REDEEMER PARISH: Prayer Group: This Group meets in the Side Chapel every Monday at 8 p.m. Scripture Group: The Group meets in the upper room of the Coffee Dock every Tuesday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon. Silent Holy Hour: This take place in the Side Chapel each Friday from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon.

CantorsNeeded: Cantors are sought for the 6.15pm Vigil Mass on Saturdays - if you are interested in singing Hymns Old and New please contact Patricia on 087970 8927.

St. Peter's Church: During the closure of St. Peter's Church, Little Bray, for refurbishment, the Church will be used for some of their funeral Masses - the remains will be brought to the church at 5pm and the Masses will take place at 11.30am. Due to the closure of St. Peter's Church there will be no Blessing of the Graves this year.

The Bray Cualann Historical Society - the local history society covering Bray & District - resumes its indoor monthly meetings at 8pm on Thursday September 16th in the Bray Chamber of Commerce House, 10 Prince of Wales Tce, Bray, when it will open its Winter Programme with a lecture presented by Mark Ahern, NGI, on ' The Paintings of Walter Osborne (1859 to 1903), his life and career ' - all welcome attend to attend, admission €4. ENGLISH CLASSES

The Failte Isteach project offers free conversational English classes in central Bray every Thursday evening in a warm and friendly setting. The project is part of a national initiative and the idea is that people volunteer their time to teach practical English to new migrants in their community through small group conversations. Classes will resume again on September 9th - further information from Eileen Byrne at 01-2868266. ENGLISH CORNER

The English Corner meets in Maderly, the house next to Bray Methodist Church on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. This is for people who want to improve their English in a relaxed atmosphere - for further information contact Catherine at 0874160420. GOOD NEIGHBOUR

On Friday morning Bray Active Retirement Association will hold its next 'Good Neighbour Morning' at 10.45 am in the Little Flower Hall, beside the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Bray. The Association is open to all aged 50 and over and new members are always welcome. CLASS REUNION

On Saturday night a Loretto Convent Class of 1990 reunion takes place in The Martello, Bray, at 8.30pm - for further information or to confirm attendance call Lorraine Duffin at 086-04822639. CRAFT AND FOOD FAIR

Bray's Royal Hotel will be venue on Sunday for a Country Food and Craft Fair when the best in craft work and country food will be on display. The event is to raise money for the Esther Benjamins Trust for disadvantaged children. COFFEE / TEA DAY

On Thursday September 16th Ms, Carmel Fox, 30 Roger Casement Park,will hold a Coffee / Tea Day in aid of Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin, from 9.30am to 9pm. BRAY CONCERT BAND

Bray Concert Band will resume rehersals this coming Thursday. Rehearsals take place every Thursday at 7.45 - 10pm. For more information please email bcb.bray.concert.band@gmail.com.
