Bray cliff walk becomes art

A picture from Hilary Williams's exhibition at Signal.
ARTIST Hilary Williams has based her most recent work 'Passing Through' on the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones.
The walk was held on Sunday, October 16, and documented by the artist, whose work will be seen in the exhibition space at the Signal Arts Centre.
Her work is autobiographical with a Beckett-like 'every woman' inclusion. Passing Through will be an exhibition around the continuous movements of body, image and memory as we all pass through life.
The show in the Signal will be an edited selection of the walk in video, as well as other forms of installations including photography, paintings and sculpture dealing with various aspects of the artist's passing through life.
The exhibition will be underway until Sunday, February 12, at Signal.
