Jenny a winner in Rotary Leadership competition

JENNY KEATING, a 6th year student in St. David's Secondary School Greystones, was recently chosen as a national winner in the Rotary Youth Leadership Competition. This was a wonderful achievement for Jenny as there were four extremely challenging interviews to get through before being selected as overall winner in this prestigious competition.
The Youth Leadership Competition has been running for the past 16 years and is a major event in the Rotary Calendar. The competition focuses on the leadership potential of the participants and is based on the experiences, organisational skills and personal achievements of the individual.
Jenny is one of 24 Irish students who won an all expenses paid trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg as part of her prize. These young leaders will be part of a 600 strong student delegation who will act as MEP's for 3 days.
St. David's is very proud of all that Jenny has achieved and wishes her well in her amazing adventure.
