ST. PETER'S PARISH

Baptisms: As from the first Saturday in March our Parish Baptisms will take place in Holy Redeemer at 12 noon, on the first Saturday of each month. Our Parish team and priests will still be involved. Forms must still be collected from the parish office, and completed at least two weeks before the date of Baptism.

Baptism meetings will be held in this Parish on the Wednesday before the date of Baptism. There will be no Baptisms on the first Saturday in April (April 3) as this is Holy Saturday.

There will be a Baptism meeting today (Wednesday) in the parish office (the bungalow opposite the church) for all parents whose child/baby is being baptised this Sunday in the Church of the Most holy redeemer at 12 Noon.

Lenten Prayer Evenings: On each Tuesday evening of Lent – March 9, 16, 23 and 30-Manresa will be offering short periods of guided prayer (7.30-9 p.m.) on the theme 'Create a sacred space to open your heart to the Word of God.' These evenings will be directed by Fr. Ciary Quirke, S.J., of the Manresa Team. email manresa@jesuit.ie - or ask Eileen or Valerie (01-8331352) for our current brochure.

Lenten Programme: This has been put together by the four Catholic parishes of Bray with the theme of "Praying with women in Luke". The programme continues next Monday March 8 with 'Praying with the scriptures (Lectio Divina)' hosted by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church; Monday Wednesday March 15: 'Christian Meditation' hosted St. Peter's Church, Little Bray; Monday March 22: Taize in St. Fergal's Church, Ballywaltrim. Each evening will begin at 7.30 p.m. and will finish with a cup of tea/coffee. All are welcome.

World Day of Prayer: a Service will take place on Saturday morning on Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at 11.30 a.m. The theme is 'Let everything that has breath praise God' and the service has been prepared by the women of Cameroon. All men and women are welcome to attend.

On Friday St. James' Church, Crinken will host a World Day of Prayer of Service at 11 a.m. on the theme of 'Hallelujah'.

YOUNG AT HEART

The Young at Heart Club will be continuing, but the venue is now in the Coach Inn, please be there for 12.30 p.m. as dinners will be served at 12.45 p.m. sharp. Cost is still the same €5, which will be collected as you arrive.

TUESDAY TEA CLUB

Tea/coffee is still available on a Tuesday morning after Mass, we will be doing our best to accommodate everybody in the bungalow, where you will be very welcome.
