SATURDAY VIGIL MASS
The Roundwood Parish Pastoral Council is having a three month trial of mass at 6.30 p.m. on a Saturday evening to replace the 8 p.m. mass. This trial period will run to Saturday May 15.

THANK YOU
The organisers of the Peter McKenna tribute night wish to thank all who supported the event, bought raffle tickets, donated raffle prizes, and gave financial donations.
A special word of thanks goes to the musicians for sharing their time and talent not just on this night but also in previous years; to Joe Kavanagh for providing the venue and finger food as always much appreciated.
Also many thanks to Colm and Mary for inclusion in their respective notes in the Bray People. In the present difficult economic climate in the region of €1,500 was generated which will be forwarded to Leukameia research at St. James' Hospital.

ROUNDWOOD MARKET
Roundwood market is reopening on Sunday March 21 from 1-5 p.m. All are welcome.
MONEYSTOWN DANCE
Tony Davitt will play in Moneystown Community Centre on Friday March 12 from 9.30 p.m. till 12 midnight. Come along and enjoy a night of waltzing, jive etc. Tea will be served, with spot prizes, refreshments also available.
FG MEETING
The AGM of the Fine Gael Roundwood branch was held recently at Vartry House. I
ssues discussed included the County Development Plan, planning issues, roads budget allocations, legislation covering the grocery sector and other areas together with recent events at Leinster House and Government stabilty and performance.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Roundwood and District Historical and Folklore Society will hold their next meeting on Monday March 29 in the Old School Roundwood at 8.30 p.m. Jim Rees will give a talk on Robert Halpin. Everyone is welcome.
MOTHER AND TODDLER
The Humpty Dumpty Mothers and toddlers Group meets every Thursday in Roundwood Parish Hall from 10.30 a.m. until 12 noon.
Everyone caring for pre-school age children are welcome, and refreshments are provided. Call Libby on 087 9332756 for further info.
NORDIC WALKING
Nordic Walking classes have moved to Saturday mornings at 10.30 a.m. until approximately 12 noon, meeting outside the Coach House Pub on Roundwood Main Street.
Lessons are suitable for all fitness levels and ages, so come along and give it a go, €10 per class or €30 for four with poles supplied. All enquiries to Michele on 083 0030002.
Classes are also available Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon by arrangement for groups of 3 or more.
COFFEE MORNING
There will be a coffee morning in Kavanagh's in conjunction with the East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning on Friday, April 16 between 9.30 a.m. and 12 noon. All monies raised will go to Wicklow Cancer Services and Wicklow Hospice Foundation
SET DANCING NEWS
Set dancing takes place in Kavanagh's Lounge every Thursday from 9-11 p.m, with music by Michael, Matt and Brian.
There will be lessons beforehand from 8-9 p.m. The cost is still €5 for the night's dancing. All newcomers are very welcome. Please note that our AGM will be on Thursday March 18 and all members are asked to attend.
DIAMOND BRIDGE CLUB
Best for North/South on Monday March 1 were Mary Murphy and Kay Plunkett, Catherine McGillycuddy and Gertie Fee were 2nd whilst Molly Byrne and Rachel Judd were 3rd. 1st for East/West were Adrienne Walshe and Gaye McGettigan whilst Michael Kenny and Carol Vambeck were 2nd and Phil Power and Monica Brady were 3rd.
002 BRIDGE
Kay Plunkett and Gaye McGettigan were the victors in a very close competition on Friday March 5; Jim McNamara and Maria Magee were 2nd, Paddy and Nancy O'Brien were 3rd with Ger Lenihan and Sandra Dunne coming closely behind in 4th place.
BADMINTON
Congratulations to Aoife Davis and Thomas Cowman who represented the club on the county U15 team and also Eva Plummer, Tiernan Kavanagh and Stephen O'Connor who made the U13 team and had some great games and gained lots of experience but no silverware. Our U19 team played their last home game this weekend and came out winning side again, well done.
45 CARD DRIVE
A 45 Card drive takes place every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre. All are welcome.
ANGEL HEALING

LOTTO RESULTS
There was no jackpot winner in last week's draw; the numbers drawn were 6, 15, 23 and 27. There were five match three winners K&F Byrne, P D'Arcy, A&B Waters, Eddie Kavanagh and Aine McGillycuddy. Next week's jackpot will be €5,300.
ATHLETICS
Fifteen athletes from Roundwood & District Athletics Club travelled to Nenagh on the weekend of February 27 for the Leinster Indoor Championships Track and Field Event.
Congratulations to Amy Murphy, gold medalist, 1st in the 'Under 15 - 60m Sprint'. Amy also qualified for the final of 800m. Congratulations to Michael Kavanagh, silver medalist, 2nd in the 'Under 19 - 800m'. Also to Graeme Phillips and Andrew Doyle, bronze medalists, 3rd in the 1500m and shot putt respectively.
These four athletes now qualify for All-Ireland Finals in the next few weeks - we wish them well. We had many other finalists and 4th placings; well done to all the athletes who travelled and competed so well and many thanks to the adults who travelled with them.
Roundwood Athletics Club is delighted to announce an additional training session each Sunday at 10 a.m. This session concentrates on building fitness and meets at the Vartry Reservoir on the Newtownmountkennedy Road to Roundwood. It is of interest to athletes aged 11 and upwards, and adults (beginners and experienced) are encouraged to attend.
