ParishOfficeHours: The opening hours are 9.30am to 1.45pm, Monday to Friday. Masses can only be booked during these hours.
The Parish Office will be closed Monday August 2 to Friday August 6 re-opening on Monday August 9.
Villa Pacis: The Villa will be open from 9am to 2pm and 6.30pm to 10pm. Other times by prior arrangement during the summer months. The Villa Pacis will be closed Monday August 2 to Friday August 6.
Mass Time Alteration: The celebration of the 1.05pm Monday to Friday weekday Mass has now resumed after the Summer.
Parish Finance Committee: The PFC meets next Monday night at 8pm in the Villa Pacis and all members are requested to attend.
Pakistan Flood Victims: A sincere thanks to all those who gave so generously to the recent Pakistan Appeal which came to €10,154.
St Vincent de Paul Society: Bags for the Society's 2010 Clothing Appeal will be distributed after all Masses on Sunday September 19th and must be returned to the Villa Pacis before 2pm Friday September 24th.
Parish Liturgy Group: The PLG meets next Tuesday night at 8pm in the Villa Pacis. This is a very important Parish Planning Group that organises, reviews and plans the various liturgies during the year. If you are interested please join and enable the Group to provide Masses that truly celebrate our faith and enrich the life of the Parish - to join contact Fr. Larry.
Baptism: Baptisms take place on Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on the second Sunday of the month.
Child Protection Policy: A copy of the Parish Child Protection policy can be viewed in the Parish Offices.
PPC: The Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish Pastoral Council can be contacted through the Parish Office.
Bethany Bereavement Group: The Our Lady Queen of Peace Bethany Support hold a drop-in evening on the first Tuesday of every month at the Villa Pacis at 8.30pm for those suffering loss of every kind. If you would like to find out more please call 087-9905299 or email:BethanySupport@eircom.net.
Hospitaity Group: Those interested in joining the Parish Hospitality Team are asked to contact Jackie at 086-3532219. It involves taking part once every six weeks.
Music at Mass: It is said that music is the prayer of the soul. It is an important part of our Sunday Masses. If you sing or play a musical instrument, please consider playing at Mass, especially during the summer when groups are away on holiday. If you could play once a month it would be of great help. Music is a gift so why not share it with others and enhance our Sunday Celebration of the Eucharist. Contact Fr. Larry if you can help.
