Anti-social behaviour forces family to leave their home

Wednesday February 03 2010

A FAMILY have been forced to leave their home in Kindlestown because of repeated anti social behaviour. In November Cllr. Stephen Stokes highlighted the plight of the couple, a pregnant woman and her husband, saying the woman was lying in bed just moments before a bottle was hurled through her window smashing it.

He said the windows of the couple's car were smashed the same night and it was just one of a number of anti social incidents they have had to endure.

During last week's meeting of Greystones Joint Policing Committee Cllr. Stokes said that as a result of the repeated anti social behaviour the couple have left the area because of fears for the pregnancy. He commended the gardai for their efforts in the area since he had highlighted the issue and said anti social behaviour was down in the area as a result.
