BRAY WANDERERS Football Club launched their new ' 200 Club' this week at the Carlisle Grounds.
The club is seeking 200 members who will join the exclusive '200 Club' for €600 per year, €50 per month or €12 per week.
Members can be an individual or a group of individuals who join with others to buy as single membership, as well as community groups, retailers, publicans, political parties, trade unions and any other body in the community.
' Most sporting bodies have relied on individual financial benefactors for survival. In many cases this fell to one or a small number of people who recognise the importance of Sport in the community,' said a spokesman.
'Bray Wanderers has survived and prospered for the past 50 years winning many trophies including the FAI Cup in 1990 and 1999. Last year they finished 6th in the Premier Division and qualified for the Setanta Sports Cup 2012.
The Club is now entering a new era which requires closer Community contact and support. This is the only viable means of retaining a Premier Division Club in Bray in spite of the current economic circumstances.'
All members will be listed on a new 200 Club membership board to be erected inside the main gates of the Carlisle Grounds.
Members will also get free entry to Bray Wanderers Home League matches and to high profile friendly matches, exclusive stadium entry point, free use of the car park for six months, an end of year networking reception and priority access for FAI International match tickets.
