Councillors worried over Grattan Park junction

The junction at Grattan Park that is causing concern for councillors.
CONTINUED concerns over the junction at Grattan Park were raised at last week's meeting of Greystones Town Council.
Cllr. Ciaran Hayden said he had inspected the junction on a number of occasions and taken picture which 'highlights the danger coming from vehicles parking there'.
He said he understood there was a national directive which said that car parking could not be provided within 10 metres of a pedestrian crossing and said the council needed to look at reversing the decision to provide parking in that area.
He was supported by Cllr. Stephen Stokes who said the matter needed to be looked at very quickly.
