A Bray man with one previous conviction who was shouting and waving a bottle in the air at the People's Park at around 4 a.m. had his case dismissed by Judge Murrough Connellan at Bray District Court last Thursday, with the benefit of the probation act.

The court heard that Sean O'Connell, 3 Dargle Heights, was arrested by Garda Brian Barron who said the accused was very unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol.

Hi solicitor Joe Maguire said that O'Connell, (20) and his girlfriend are expecting a baby in December. Judge Connellan, noting the circumstances, said that he would dismiss the charge. I don't want to see you here again Mr. O'Connell,' he told the defendant.
