M50 school will support children with special needs
Wednesday November 12 2008
CHILDREN from Wicklow and the rest of Leinster with communication difficulties will be supported by a new school off the M50 in Rathfanham.
Enrolling is open now for January 2009 for Children from birth to 18 years.
Release Communication Intervention is a not for profit social enterprise which teaches parents and children the practical skills and techniques they need to overcome communications difficulties.
Enrolling for the new term which begins January 2009, both schools will cater for children from birth to 18 years with all levels of communications difficulties.
It is hoped that because of its location, just two minutes off the M50, the Rathfarnham school will support enrolments from the surrounding counties of Wicklow, Kildare, Westmeath and Offaly, as well as Dublin. Release Rathfarnham will be based on the model that has been successfully rolled out in Releases' Dundalk school.
Parents wishing to have their child assessed or enrolled with the programme should contact Pauline at Release as soon as possible on ( 01) 8531578 or email paulinegreene@ releas e. ie or register interest on www. release. ie.
