Man apologises for driving without due consideration
AN ENNISKERRY MAN apologised to Judge Murrough Connellan for his driving when he appeared recently at Bray District Court.
'I'm sorry your honour,' said Wayde O'brien (19), responding to a charge of 'driving without reasonable consideration'.
The court heard that O'brien was driving at speed from Herbert Road on to the Main Street on August 21. He turned sharply in to Chapel lane as the light was turning amber and was driving too fast for the conditions and without regard for pedestrians.
He was fined €150 as well as a further €100 for driving unaccompanied by a qualified driver.
O'brien was also fined €100 for driving unaccompanied on Castle Street on June 18 and €150 for using a mobile phone while driving on the same date.
