No tax, no insurance

A MAN WHO PARKED his untaxed and uninsured vehicle in a car park in front of his home was fined €150 at Bray District Court last Thursday.
Christian Petcu, 5 Martello Terace, Strand Road, told Judge Murrough Connellan that the car was not in use at the time and was parked in an area commonly used by residents of the terrace.
Judge Connellan said that the car was parked on a public road before handing down the fine for having no tax, taking in to consideration the no insurance.
