Power tools theft
A BRAY MAN who took €800 worth of power tools from a restaurant was given a six-month suspended sentence recently at Bray District Court.
Barry O'connell (22), 10 Corke Abbey, was carrying a number of items along Lower Dargle Road on August 23 2011.
'He told me he had bought them for his uncle,' said Garda John O'reilly. However, O'connell later admitted that he had entered the premises and taken them.
Judge Murrough Connellan handed down the sentence, suspended for a period of two years.
