Record breaker hopefuls want your extra time and your...kiss
BRAY CANCER SUPPORT CENTRE is seeking volunteers to help them break the world record for the world's longest chain kiss.
Currently set at 1,450 people, they hope to smash that record with the support of local people.
The event will start at 2 p.m. on Friday February 10, and after the record-breaking attempt everyone is invited to help the town celebrate with an open-air concert in the civic plaza with love songs from local musicians whilst enjoying a romantic hot chocolate.
The centre's purple t-shirts will be available in many shops throughout the town. 'Shops will be doing their best as well with purple inspired window displays and purple coloured staff,' said a spokesman. ' You never know, cupid may strike you with his arrow while you're here!'
There will also be a prize for the best dressed baby, in purple of course.
