RNLI issues a rallying call for new members

THE BRAY branch of the RNLI are appealing for new members. The branch has been in existence for many years now and new sea enthusiasts are always welcome along.
'We rely on donations from Trocaire,' said committee member Georgina Masterson. 'We get no Government grants at all'
The main objective of the branch is to raise funds for other charities throughout the region.
They achieve this through numerous flag days and the Christmas Fair.
'One benefit of new members joining is that it gives us new ways to raise money, there is a great incentive to become a member of this group. We have had a terrific start to this year with a €3000 donation from the Bray Drama Festival' Anyone interested in joining the Bray branch of the RNLI can ring Georgina on (087) 6716745.
