'Ronnie' growing to support prostate cancer research

MOVEMBER, the month formerly known as November, is upon us again and the men of Wicklow are invited to grown moustaches in the name of raising money for Action Prostate Cancer, an initiative of the Irish Cancer Society.
The men of Holland's Lounge in Bray made a collective effort last year in their quest to emulate Ron Burgandy and Magnum P.I.
'Mo Bros,' are asked to be clean shaven on Movember 1 and gain sponsorship for their Mo-mentous (apologies) effort throughout the month whilst raising awareness of men's health issues.
Participants can register at www.movember.com as individuals or as a team. Celebrities already signed up include Olympic boxer Kenny Egan and rugby legend Donal Lenihan.
