St. Pat's had edge on Kiltegan

ST PAT'S just edged out Kiltegan in a low scoring game at Wicklow on Saturday.
It was score for score in the first half. James Doyle was keeping Kiltegan in the game from frees while Mathew Byrne 0-2 and Dara O'Suillivan and Gary Duffy sent over points from play to leave the game tied at 0-4 each at half time.
The game was win and lost in the third quarter as the home side tacked three unanswered point . Kiltegan got back into the game with points from Mikie Foley and Stephen Farrell (45) but it was too little too late.
