The following are the results of recent men's competition held in Wicklow Golf Club;
The results of the first competition of the Winter League held over the weekend of November 5th and 6th are; Category 1 (0-12): 1st Shane Mitchell (10) with 36 points, 2nd David Porter (12) with 36 points, 3rd Tony O'neill (9) with 34 points. Category 2 (13-18): 1st Willie Carey (16) with 35 points, 2nd Ruben Dover (15) with 35 points, 3rd Frank Mcgettigan (14) with 34 points. Category 3 (19-28): 1st Glenn Malone (20) with 35 points, 2nd Tommy Kelly (20) with 33 points, 3rd Vincent Brady (20) 31 points.
The winners of the Monday Open competition held on November 7th were 1st Derek Kelly (20) with 39 points, 2nd Patrick M. Doyle (15) with 38 points.
The Results of the Thursday competition held on November 11th are; 1st Aubrey Armstrong (14) with 36 points, Category 1 (0-12): Michael Doyle (12) with 35 points, Category 2 (13-18): Tommy Morrissey (17) with 35 points, Category 3 (19-28): Tom Shortall (21) with 33 points.

Quinns of Baltinglass Winter League 14 Hole Stableford Round 2: Winner: John Reynolds 36pts; Runner up: Seamus Kavanagh 33pts; 3rd: Bryan Kilcoyne 32 pts. League table can be viewed on website.
The Ladies section AGM was held last Sunday night, Captain Margo Doyle thanked her committee, the President Una Mc Keever, Ladies Secretary Mai Quaid, Competition Secretary Assumpta O`neill and all the members who helped her by giving up their spare time to make her year a very memorable one, she also wished next years committee every success. The full Ladies committee for 2012 is, President Bernie Kilcoyne, Captain Gen Doyle, Vice Captain Linda Kennedy, Ladies Secretary Mai Quaid, Competition Assumpta O'neill and the 4 committee members are Patricia Foley, Catherine Lord, Mary Mc Donagh and Margo Doyle.
Junior Winter League: Winner: William Byrne 29; Runner up: Gavin Owens 28
Ladies Results: 14 Hole Stableford: Winner: Teresa Kilcoyne 29 pts; Runner up: Mary Gorry 29 pts; 3rd: Lil Kelly 28pts.
