The following are the results of the competitions held in Wicklow Golf Club held over the past few weeks; the Remax 4-Ball Stableford competition was held on July 1st and the winners were Billy Alexander (17) and Mark Devlin (14) with 47 points, 2nd were Dave Halihan (11) and Jimmy Walsh (10) with 45 points, 3rd were Paul Garland (12) and Sam Garland (11) with 44 points and 4th were Des Nichols (14) and Sam Murdock (22) from Newbridge Golf Club with 43 points.
The results of the Rich Glass Team event which was held on Friday and Saturday July 2nd and 3rd were; 1st, Trevor Doyle (5), Robert Doyle (7), Ryan Dowling (13) and Nick Carberry (14) from Kileen Golf Club with 97 points, 2nd were Darren Ronan (7), James O'Toole (14), John Clarke (11) and Martin Byrne (13) with 93 points. 3rd were Ray Kane (11), Brendan Kane (12), Damian Glynn (18) and Mick Corrigan (15) with 92 points, 4th were Jack Byrne (10), Cormac O'Rourke (19), James Crowe (10) and Niall Murray (12) with 92 points. The 18-Hole Singles Stableford competition held on Sunday July 4th was won by Liam Devlin (8) with 40 points, 2nd was Gerry Kavanagh (13) with 39 points, 3rd was Liam Fitzgerald (15) with 39 points, 4th was Paul Furlong (8) with 38 points, 5th was Michael Campbell (16) with 38 points and 6th was Niall Dowling (13) with 37 points. The results of the 18-Hole Singles Stableford competition held on Thursday July 8th were; 1st Paul Furlong (7) with 43 points, 2nd was Simon Carroll (10) with 41 points, 3rd was Fergal Marah (7) with 39 points, 4th was Ian Mooney (12) with 39 points and 5th was Simon Wheatley (13) with 39 points. Finally the results of the 18-Hole Singles Stableford competition held on Sunday July 11 were; 1st Stephen Cummins (13) with 45 points, 2nd was Michael McDonald (20) with 42 points, 3rd was Conor Jameson (4) with 41 points, 4th was Thomas Morrissey (18) with 41 points, 5th was John Dowling (16) with 41 points and 6th was Shane Gormley (15) with 40 points.
