DUNLAVIN
The Annual Executive General Meeting of the club was held on Sunday, December 13. New elected committee officers are as follows: Chairman John Hammond, Asst. Chairman Charlie Walsh; Secretary Jimmy Whittle, Asst. Secretary Aisling Grace; Finance Officers Margaret Healy and Tadgh Metcalf. PRO Margaret Healy. Thanks to the outgoing committee for all their hard work and support in the last year and good luck to the incoming committee for the coming year.
Congratulations to Thomas Harney on being selected Intermediate Player of the Year for County Wicklow. Well done Thomas you have done the club proud.
On behalf of everyone involved in the club we would like to wish Andy O'Brien, County Chairman, continued success for the coming year.
Date for your diary. On 3rd January, Dunlavin play St. Laurence's in the Séamus Miley Memorial Cup in Dunlavin. See local notices for time.
Lotto results for Monday 7th December are as follows. Numbers were 6, 18, 20, and 24. There was two match 3, each receiving €125.00, Maggie Dalton and Billy and May Shore. John Allen won promoters prize. Congrats to all. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
ST. NICHOLAS
U-16 training going very well and looking forward to semi-final next Saturday against Rathnew, time and venue to be decided. Check local notices for details.
The St. Nicholas Calendar for 2010 has now been launched and is selling very well. An ideal Christmas gift for anyone. They can be bought, €10, from Aisling Grace (Dunlavin) or Susan Adler (Donard).
Imaal Hall, Dunlavin, 30th December at 7 p.m. is the place to be. St. Nicholas is hosting The Thorny Rose Competition. This will be a great nights entertainment for all. The Roses are already preparing for the event. All support would be very much appreciated. For more details contact Aisling Grace 085 / 7377818.
STRATFORD-GRANGECON
The juveniles had their Christmas party last week and a great day was had by all with disco music goodies and of course a visit from Santa kept the children and some of the adults entertained for the afternoon.
Well the year for our club is almost at an end and it has been a mixed year for all of our teams from Seniors, Juniors and Juveniles. There were some fine wins and some hard losses across the board but a great effort was put in by all involved. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave so much of their free time to help in so many ways from training, coaching, transport, fundraising, catering, jersey washing and so much more your help has been greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all again in the new year. To all families in the community who have suffered bereavements in the past year the club would like to extend its sympathies especially at this time of year. To all the sick in the parish we wish them all a speedy recovery.
The clubs AGM is provisionally fixed for Sunday, January 24, at 2 p.m. in Stratford N.S. Nomination and motion forms will be sent to all members shortly. More information will follow in the new year.

NEWTOWN
The AGM took place last Wednesday 9th of December. The new officers for 2010 are President Fr. Sean Smith,Vice-Presidents Pat Davis Sr, Eamon Doyle, John Ellis, Jim Mooney, Paul O'Connor, Micheal Shelly, Sean Tiernan, Chairman, Robert Nolan, Vice-Chairman Eamon Doyle, Secretary Pat Doyle,
Asst Secretary Suzan Odlum, Treasurer James Kelly, Asst Treasurer Jim Sullivan, PRO Daire Nolan, Registrar Brian Doyle. Committee members Anthony Duffy, Martin O'Connor, Mark Doyle, Jim O'Riordan, Tom Nolan, Shay Power, Ger Burke, Garrett Doyle, Dominic Leech, Helen Odlum, Pat Doyle, and Geraldine Nolan. Congratulations to the new committee and especially to those who are involved for the first time. Many topics were discussed,and the season just ended was reflected upon. Pride of place went to the U-12s who won their county championship. The Dunne Cup, recently won by the Senior team was on display.
Thanks to Gail Dunne for all his work with the Senior team and we wish him all the best in his new position with the County Committee. Position of Senior team manager is now open for the next couple of weeks. Anyone interested in this position or who could suggest someone who would be interested should contact the committee.
Four delegates, Pat Doyle, Robert Nolan, Eamon Doyle and Daire Nolan represented Newtown GAA at the County Convention last Saturday in Aughrim.
The Lotto is now at €3,000 and the draw for free vouchers is included in the main draw.
The deadline to have pictures and information included in the club history is fast approaching. All items can be left in to Robert as soon as possible. Anything relevant to life in Newtown over the years is welcome.
The club would like to send sincere condolences to the family of Tom Lyng who passed away recently.
BALTINGLASS

The Christmas party was a great success with players, mentors and committee there enjoying the music and craic and loads of spot prizes. Well done to the girls three captains who switched on the Christmas lights last week in the town Rachael O'Neill, Chloe Farrell and Susan Dowling.
Our AGM is in January so anyone interested in doing anything put your name forward now. We send congrats to Pat Mitchell on his new position as County PRO.

DONARD-GLEN
Lotto results for Monday last 7th December. No winner and only three match threes Sue Eager, Bridie Conron and Emer Keogh. The winning numbers were 3, 19, 22 and 28. The camogie club held their AGM last Friday night and had a good attendance. There is no change to the chairperson Nora O'Neill still holds on to it. Vice-chairperson, Deirdre Cullen, treasurer Bridie O'Neill assistant treasurer Collette Walsh, secretary Marian Whyte and her assistant her daughter Sinead. The PRO is Karen Walsh and her assistant is Breda Walsh

KNOCKANANNA
We can now announce who will be representing the village in 'The Battle of Black Toms'. Eoin Walsh, Joe Kelly, Paddy Byrne, Brian Lawrence and Declan Whelan will be taking to the ring on the night. The fighters were supposed to be unveiled at a press conference during the week but they refused to take time out from their training. Brendan Lawrence is on MC duties for night. The lads are putting in a big effort for this so make sure to get down there on the night and shout them on.
This is going be a great night out, and something that you won't see every weekend. Tickets, priced €15, are on sale now.
This is a joint fundraiser between ourselves and Tinahely, all proceeds that we make will be going into our development fund for the upgrade of our playing facilities.
No winner of lotto jackpot or any match three winners last week. Ava Whelan, John Lawlor, Molly Byrne and Ann Humphries were the names drawn out for the lucky dip draw and each receive €25. Seán Hughes won the seller's prize which had reached the sum of €400. Next weeks sellers prize is back to €20 and the main lotto jackpot stands at €3,700.
KILTEGAN
Our jackpot of €5,800 was not won last week, the winning numbers were 20, 22, 23 and 28. There was no match 3's so an extra €200 was added to the jackpot. This week's jackpots stands at €6,200, the draws takes place in the Katie Lowes, there will be nine Christmas vouchers draws and three promoters draws. Tickets €2 and are available in the local shop, pubs and committee members.
Congratulations and well done to Jeffrey Bermingham on being selected on the Christy Ring Team of the year for 2009 and also being selected as Wicklow Hurler of the year, very nice to receive to awards in the one year.
Well done to Pat Judy Keogh on refereeing the Co. Minor Final replay with Rathnew and Eire Óg in Aughrim on Sunday which went to extra-time.
Congratulations to Peter Keogh, Damien Byrne and John Timmins on being re-elected to their various positions on Saturday night at the County Convention.
We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Pat Dowling and family on the death of his wife Blanche.
MICHAEL DWYER'S
With all activities on the playing field finished until the New Year the focus then turned to the AGM on last Wednesday night and there was a good turn out for this meeting. Aughrim GAA Club will hold its AGM in the new Sports Complex on the Community Field on this coming Friday night at 8.30 p.m. All members are requested to be in attendance and new members will be especially welcome.
Now is the opportunity to volunteer to help out with juvenile and adult teams.
Club members should note that deceased club members will be remembered at all Masses celebrated in Aughrim this weekend.
Thanks are expressed to all players who travelled to play Kilbride in our final league fixture of the year. We were beaten on a scoreline of 38 to 2-6.

BLESSINGTON
There is a referee's course starting in January, and any member of the club interested in doing this course can contact J.P. Moran at 087 2388592.
Our club lotto draw took place on Monday 14th December. The Jackpot was €2,800.00 and was not won. The numbers drawn was 4, 5, 16 and 23. There was eight lucky winners who match three numbers and they each received €40.00. The Annual St Stephen s Day Charity Soccer Games takes place at the Blessington AFC Soccer Ground, Crosschapel. The first game is 30th Annual Sean and Betty Tutty Perpetual Trophy between Blessington AFC over 40's and the Blessington GFC over 40's at 11 a.m. and the second game is 2nd Annual Ray Daniels Memorial Cup between Carrig Glen Selection and The Rest of the Town Selection at 12 noon.
