BUDDING YOUNG hurlers continue to learn the skills of the game at the Tom Ryan Indoor hurling competitions at Arklow Sports and Leisure Centre every weekend.

Over the last two Saturdays it was the turn of the U-10 and U-12 players to enjoy the entertaining fare on offer.

Teams from Arklow Rock Parnells, Kilcoole, Bray Emmets, Barndarrig, Kiltegan, Glenealy and Aughrim participated in the U10 competition, which produced many keenly contested games.

The clubs fined by Wicklow's Competitions Control Committee were Newtown and Carnew, who were involved in two rows in the Dunne Cup Senior AGB WILL hold their Annual General Meeeting (AGM) on Thursday, January 14, 2010.

The AGM will take place in the Gaelcholaiste at 8 p.m. sharp. All members welcome.
