St. David's juveniles advance in Leinster
Wednesday March 10 2010
THE QUALIFIER for the Leinster juvenile D hurling championship was held in Kilcoole on Friday. Winners were St David's Greystones who defeated De La Salle College Wicklow in the final.
History was made in Pearse's Park Arklow when Gaelcholaiste na Mara fielded a hurling team for the first time. Trained by Kildare hurler Tony Murphy they took a while to settle but eventually ran out good winners over Abbey Community College Wicklow in the minor hurling championship which is confined to first and second year students.
