PADDY MCKENZIE from Arklow boxing club had his second win in a week when he defeated Joe Whelan St Ibars. Whelan is the Wexford League champion and Paddy fought a great fight to win the Wexford Open County championships in Ferns on Saturday last.

ON THE 22nd of January Shoreline Leisure centre welcomed top archers from all corners of the country for WGC'S first national Indoor Archery Event. The one day event saw 84 archers competing in 4 different competition Categories. The WGC work team spent Saturday afternoon setting the sports hall up to the highest international standard and continued to run the large competition to the highest standard resulting in a flawless competition schedule.
